Geoff is a dedicated and long‑standing member of the club’s popular Tuesday Club, a group of volunteers who meet every Tuesday at the club to help maintain and improve the grounds. Week in, week out, the group gives up their time to carry out essential work including tidying up, cleaning, painting and general repairs around the club. Their efforts often go unseen, but they play a vital role in keeping the club running smoothly.
Volunteers like Geoff are the backbone of a community club such as Hartlepool Rovers. From maintaining facilities to creating a welcoming environment for players, supporters and visitors, volunteering helps ensure the club remains a place everyone can be proud of. Community clubs rely heavily on goodwill, teamwork and people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help out, and the Tuesday Club is a perfect example of that spirit in action.
The Volunteer of the Month award is proudly sponsored by The Hidden Tap in Seaton Carew, who continue to show fantastic support for the club and its volunteers. As this month’s recipient, Geoff received a voucher to enjoy at The Hidden Tap as a small thank you for the time, effort and commitment shown to Hartlepool Rovers.
The club would like to place on record sincere thanks to Geoff Clarke and to all members of the Tuesday Club for everything they do behind the scenes. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated by everyone connected with Hartlepool Rovers.
