At Hartlepool Rovers, we pride ourselves on being more than just a rugby club—we’re a community. Whether you're here to cheer on our players, catch up with friends, or enjoy a quiet pint, we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable.
As part of that commitment, we’d like to gently raise a point about vaping inside the clubhouse.
We understand that vaping is a legal activity indoors in England, and we’re not introducing a ban. However, we do ask all members and visitors to be mindful of those around them. Our clubhouse is often filled with families, including young children, and some patrons may find second-hand vapour unpleasant or intrusive.
A Family-Friendly Space
We’re proud to be a club where generations come together—grandparents, parents, and kids alike. That’s why we kindly ask that, wherever possible, vaping is done outside the clubhouse. It’s a small gesture that helps us maintain a welcoming environment for everyone.
Respecting Each Other
This isn’t about rules—it’s about respect. Just as we look out for each other on the pitch, we aim to do the same off it. If you do choose to vape, stepping outside is a simple way to show consideration for fellow patrons.
Thanks for helping us keep Hartlepool Rovers a place where everyone feels at home.
