With the rugby world cup only weeks away Hartlepool Rovers hope you can join them to help #Carrythemhome

The 2019 rugby world cup kicks off in Japan in September. England's first game is against Tonga on the 22nd of September.

Rovers will mark the start of the world cup with a "Curry them home" night. Friday 20th of September from 7.00pm the club will provide a selection of curries and the chance to watch some of the most famous world cup moments from previous competitions. Tickets are £10 and money raised will go towards the RFU injured players foundation. Tickets can be bought from Tony Church, Callum, Ty, or ask behind the bar.

On Sunday the 22nd of September the club will be open early and offering breakfasts before the game kicks off. Kick off is 11.15am. We will also be holding a rugby taster session for any players from 2 year old's through to year 8 before the England game kicks off (more details to follow)

The last two group matches for England are against Argentina on the 5th October at 9.00am and then the last group match against France on the 12th October 9.15am kick off. The club will be open before kick off with breakfasts available.

Hopefully England will progress deep into this competition and if they do we will continue with breakfasts depending on dates of games.

If you cant be at the match then there is no better place to watch international rugby than at a rugby club. Three big screens, a well stocked and very reasonably priced bar, and breakfasts available...why would you want to watch the games anywhere else (other than Japan). Everyone is welcome to join us .
