On the final league game of the season, Hartlepool Rovers held their inaugural Players Sponsors Day, marking the first year the club has run an individual player sponsorship scheme.

This season saw the launch of the player sponsorship programme, giving supporters, businesses and community groups the opportunity to directly support a member of the first‑team squad. Every sponsored player received an official Hartlepool Rovers club T‑shirt and tracksuit as part of the scheme, helping to strengthen the connection between players and their sponsors.

Sponsors benefited from social media exposure throughout the season, were named on the official social media team sheet on matchdays, and were invited to attend the Players Sponsors Day. The day itself included hospitality at the club, a photo opportunity with their sponsored player, and the chance to watch the first team compete in their final league game of the campaign.

A special prize was available for the club’s top try scorer. This season that accolade went to James Keers. Steve Wallis, representing the Rovers Relics group who sponsored James, was presented with a bottle of champagne in recognition of the achievement.

Following the success of the scheme, player sponsorships are now open for the 2026/27 season. The deal will remain the same, with player sponsorship available at £175 plus VAT. Sponsorship offers an excellent opportunity to support the club, gain exposure, and build a closer connection with the Hartlepool Rovers first‑team squad.
