Hartlepool Rovers hit the road this weekend as they travel to Green Lane to take on Middlesbrough 2nd XV, with the league leaders aiming to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.

Rovers have been in outstanding form so far, making it three wins from three with impressive victories over West 2nds, Acklam and, most recently, a convincing performance against Billingham 2nds. Confidence within the squad is high and the aim will be clear on Saturday: make it four wins from four and continue setting the pace at the top end of the table.

There are a number of changes to the side that triumphed last weekend. Jay Wintersgill comes into the starting XV, while Josh Wilson earns a place back in the team. Corey Railton is recalled to the wing and James Keers returns to the starting line-up. Ellis Trimble is also included, adding further strength and depth to the squad.

Making way from last week's starting XV are Billy Lloyd, Jake McMorris, Ryan Harrison, Charlie Evans and James Evans. Harrison drops to the bench this week, where he is joined by Craig Vincent, Lewy Powell, Alex Rochester and Shane Jeffery.

The changes provide a fresh look to a side that has already shown plenty of quality in the opening weeks of the season, with competition for places remaining high throughout the squad which can only be a good thing for the full squad.

With momentum building and standards continuing to rise, Rovers will be looking to produce another strong performance against a Middlesbrough side that will be eager to halt the visitors' unbeaten start.

Kick off is at 3pm at Green Lane, Middlesbrough. All support is welcome as Hartlepool Rovers look to continue their excellent early-season run and make it four victories from four league matches.
