Last Saturday, we proudly hosted our annual Volunteer Thank You Event – a special occasion dedicated to recognising and celebrating the incredible individuals who give their time and energy to keep our club thriving.
Although the 1st team game was called off, our volunteers enjoyed an afternoon of great company, delicious food, and drinks in the recently refurbished Stainton Lounge. It was a fantastic opportunity to show our appreciation for everything they do behind the scenes.
We were delighted to welcome a delegate from Durham County RFU, who spoke passionately about the vital role volunteers play in rugby clubs across the region. Their message reinforced what we already know – volunteers are the heartbeat of our sport.
