Hartlepool Rovers hit the road on Saturday when they visit Ponteland (kick off 3pm)

The Whites will be hoping for a better result there than last season's 24-8 defeat to a relegation-threatened Ponteland and which typifies Rovers' record at the Ponteland Leisure Centre.

For every away win at Ponteland, Rovers have come a cropper and with their hosts just one place below them due to an inferior points difference, it's vital that Rovers get their second win of this Durham Northumberland One campaign.

With good weather forecast at the moment and firm pitch conditions, the Friaragemen have the forward power and some finishers in the backs to take full advantage.

The White Shirts, not for the first time this season, left many points out on the pitch against Stockton and at the hour mark last week they really should have been out of sight.

Given a let-off, Stockton took full advantage to record the win.
