Rovers v Horden

Rovers and Ryton once again teamed up for this u18s fixture. They were joined by a couple of Barnard Castle girls.

R&R played some excellent rugby and scored a number of well worked tries. R&R utilised their pace and fancy footwork against the bigger opposition. The Rovers Sophie's played very well with Sophie D making tackle after tackle and Sophie H moving the ball well from 9. Ultimately Horden were too strong and with an England player and an England trialist in their team their power and experience took over.

This was a really good game to watch and more valuable 15 a side experience for our girls. Well done ladies.
