Another good show for u18s

The under 18 girls travelled to Horden to take part in the latest festival.

Rovers were boosted by the arrival of their new playing kits which have once again been sponsored by Veolia. A massive thank you to Veolia for their continued support.

Rovers did have 6 players in the morning but a few late cry offs resulted in only 3 players. Ryton had 7 so we formed a 10 a side team.

First game was against a combined Mowden & Barnard Castle. Rovers/Ryton played some good rugby and won comfortably with all players contributing.

Rovers then went on to face a combined Horden and Tynedale. Both Horden and Tynedale are excellent sides and they were too strong for the Rovers/Ryton team.

The girls played their part and all did very well. The team will only get better as they play more together.
