Last Saturday we welcomed our mini’s and juniors to attend our 1st team game against Rockcliff. The players were treated to some training and games before the 1st team game. All of the 1st team players helped out and gave our future stars some hints and tips.

Straight after their training session the kids and parents were welcomed into the club house for a sumptuous buffet. With their bellies full, the young players then formed a guard of honour as the players entered the field.

Rovers won the game 20-3 which topped an enjoyable day.

It takes a lot of volunteers to make our junior section a success. And we need more. If you have capacity to help with our teams please speak to one of our coaches. It could be helping with coaching, collecting subs, putting cones out, helping in kitchen. Anything really. If you think you can help just get in touch.
